Fresh 48

Introducing the Fresh 48 Session!

As I looked back through my little one’s baby book, I realized there are only a handful of photos from the night of his birth… and I took all of them myself. If I could go back, I would love to have more photos from the first 48 hours of his life, and of our changing family. It all goes by so quickly.

A “Fresh 48” photography session is a special documentary style session for those families who want the first few hours of their newborn’s life captured without having the entire labor or birth documented. Held within the first 48 hours of your new baby’s life, this lifestyle session is perfect for remembering that first day forever.

I will capture those important first moments: herbal bath, breastfeeding, meeting siblings and family members, meeting the grandparents, or simply just gazing and falling in love with each other! This session captures moments like these that will soon be lost in the fog of life at home with a newborn. These are the photos that your family and friends will be begging to see as you announce your baby’s birth.

This is not a traditional newborn session; I will not pose the baby, or bring props, or lights. This will just be me capturing your baby’s sweet new moments in a fresh natural way!

What do I include in a Fresh 48 session?

Fresh 48 Sessions take place when you call, during daylight hours, within the first 48 hours after birth. I like to be there as quickly after the birth as possible, so the sooner the better!

It will take place wherever you choose to birth whether it be a birth center, hospital, or even home. And it will last approximately 45 – 60 minutes.

You will receive a minimum of 50 digital images with print release, as well as a same-day (or next day if your session is late in the day) Facebook sneak peek for you to share with friends and family.
