This week I got to hang out at one of the coolest 1st birthday parties ever! I mean come on, how many kids can say that they have had their very own “Birthday Happy Hour”? Well, little Violet got just that. Violet’s Birthday Happy Hour was the perfect mash-up of family, friends, and incredibly adorable little kids. So much fun to attend and even more fun to photograph. Of course, the best part of the night was clearly how sweet and happy the birthday girl was. Happy Birthday Violet!!!
Something I have always loved about growing up in a small town is that I always felt like I had so many families. I of course had my own family, but living so near to such a close-knit group of people can really make you feel like you truly belong to most of the families in town. This is one of those families. I was lucky enough to photograph this bunch while everyone was back in town this 4th of July. We had such a good time catching up a little and taking some family photos.
It was so good to see you guys. Hope you like them!
Zoe is such a lovely little lady with the absolute sweetest older brother. He was so totally enamored with her and couldn’t have been prouder to pose with her for photos. Zoe loved taking photos outside yesterday… it must have been the gorgeous Kansas weather. I guess 100+ degrees outside will keep any baby (and their photographer) nice and toasty. Enjoy her sneak peek!
Check out this little cutie pie! Molly was a total peach to work with. Of course she was only 5 days old, but it was obvious that she was meant to be in front of the camera. I love getting to work with such new little ones. At 5 days, they are still so sleepy and bendy and fun to photograph. Not to mention, it is such a blessing to get to help welcome them to the world. Welcome home Molly!
Check out this tiny little lady. Only 4 days old, Olivia was sleepy and adorable, and ready with tons of smiles for me. She couldn’t have been more lovely. Welcome to the world baby Olivia!
